A careful selection of the best grapes from Baja California valleys used to create high quality wines

Cava Córdova is a small family-run winery started in the 2013. The company produce small batch of product with a main goal: producing refined premium wines.

It’s all about selection of the raw material. This is why the winery uses only grapes from the best vineyards of Baja California. All Cava Córdova wines are produced with the best care in order to keep an high quality standard. First, there’s a selection of the bunches before the fermentation. Then every production phase, until the bottling, is carefully controlled.

Cava Córdova produces 4 wines: Primula, a fresh and fruity Chardonnay fermented in stainless steel tanks; Cava Córdova Chardonnay Riserva, aged in barriques; and GSM, their best product, a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvédre.

Enoveneta for Cava Córdova

With our distributor Larson Irrigation, we’ve supplied a destemming and pressing line for Cava Córdova. For the destemming line we’ve supplied a TOP-15 destemmer-crusher with an hourly output of 16 ton/h.

For the pressing phase we’ve realized a pneumatic press with open cylinder PPA-26. This model can process up to 6 tons of destemmed/crushed grapes. Also, like all PP models, is complete of a PLC that can manage all the working and washing phases.

Lastly, we’ve supplied a PEV-150 peristaltic pump with hopper with hourly output up to 10 ton/h of destemmed/crushed grapes. This pump is mainly used for the press loading after the crushing.
